Unless you’re a politician, you probably know we’re well into a recession.
That means we’re in a period where approximately 9% of businesses will thrive, while others experience a decline or go bankrupt.
This is also when the biggest fortunes are made, because the businesses that thrive will take all the market share from their competitors who don’t quite make it.
Good news is, there’s only one word that stands between these 2 groups –
Adaptability.
Allow me to elaborate…
🔴 If you want to maximize your chances of going out of business in the next 12 months, here’s how:
Keep doing what used to work but no longer works right now,
Attempt to solve problems through brute force and hustle,
Be “too busy” to implement new strategies or make pivots,
See work hours go up and profit margins go down,
Drown yourself in fear-based inputs,
Say “I’ve tried everything” and accept defeat.
Logically no one would pick this route unless they want to deliberately go bankrupt, however since we’re emotional beings, this is what most Founders end up doing.
Because they would rather not take any risks and stay rigid by doing what they’re used to doing… even if that guarantees diminishing returns and eventual failure.
🟢 On the flip side, Founders who thrive are the ones who embrace change instead of shying away from it.
Here’s what it looks like:
Eliminate all distractions and negative inputs,
Delegate mundane tasks and reactive work,
Develop rockstar VAs to take care of daily operations,
Create an unfair amount of free time and bandwidth.
Then use that time and bandwidth to generate insane levels of adaptability.
This is the best advice that I can give you right now.
This year alone I’ve seen people in my industry who used to be successful…go into debt or go back to working a job.
The only reason why my business & my clients’ businesses are thriving is because we’re able to create adaptability.
With VAs, processes and systems giving us the time & bandwidth we need,
we can implement new strategies, engage in deep work, build new assets and advance the business forward.
And even if we get hit with a huge curveball or setback, we won’t be too busy to put out fires, solve problems and protect momentum.
Stay strong, create adaptability and let’s thrive. 💪
